Celebrate Halloween with Dual Events in San Diego This Weekend

As October unfolds, San Diego is poised for spooky festivities with two exciting events this Saturday. First, Scream Diego, the local Halloween and Horror Convention, will launch at the Doubletree Hotel in Hazard Center. This marks the event’s third year and its inaugural appearance at this venue, where attendees can enjoy panels covering topics from monster voice acting to the intersection of healing and horror, alongside a film festival featuring 30 short films.

Simultaneously, the San Diego Filipino Film Festival (SDFFF) will take place at AMC Plaza Bonita, showcasing diverse short films, including horror-themed entries like “Oki Oki Oki” and other narratives that highlight Filipino culture and experience. Both events promise a thrilling night of entertainment for horror enthusiasts and film lovers alike.
